CHHATTISGARH

This foot march was Bhu Adhikar Yatra, with a focus on land distribution to the Adivasi communities (indigenous peoples) of Chhattisgarh.

The key focus for this foot march was land distribution to the Dalit and Adivasi families (indigenous peoples) A strong effort to create women-led community farming initiatives was born from this march.

This was a cycle yatra called Chhattisgarh Bachao yatra, against the land acquisition for mining and industries.

This was the first massive foot march by Ekta Parishad with 25,000 foot-marchers, over 360km. The main focus of this was the implementation of the Forest Rights Act and Land reforms legislation and policy.

JAN SAMWAD YATRA

To build a nationwide alliance among land rights movements and organizations. 2000 organizations came together as an alliance resulting in the next march, through a vehicle march of 80,000 km.

JAN SATYAGRAHA

GWALIOR - AGRA

A monumental foot march of 1,00,000 people for 200 km, asking for the land guarantee legislation and national land reforms policy, which resulted in the signing of a 10 point Agra agreement.

ZAMEEN BACHAO ANDOLAN

This was a foot march of 5000 people for 70 km, from Palwal, Haryana to Delhi to pressurize the government to implement social impact assessment and consent of farmers before land acquisition.

11 women did a vehicle march for 11,000 km asking for institutionalizing the Women Farmer Entitlement Act.
